Make the most out of your day in Cozumel: With our Private Boat Charter to Passion Island. This boat excursion brings you to the North of Cozumel, a precious gem far away from the crowds. Enjoy the peaceful and clear waters of Passion Island, an excellent relaxation and rest. The Private Boat Tour to Passion Island is a half day excursion. You can choose the morning or the afternoon tour. If you come with a cruise ship, please check with us to accommodate this experience with your cruise schedule. The tour takes about 4 hours. If you like a longer excursion, please ask for options. As this is a private tour, it can be adjusted to your wishes and additional stops can be included.

Sunken boat in front of the beach Casitas Our first stop on our Private Cozumel Boat Excursion is a sunken boat in shallow waters. During a snorkel stop we enjoy the clear visibility, more than 90 feet / 30 meters. If you like to free dive, you will get close to the ship wreck. There is abundant marine life and some corals start to grow on the side of the boat. If you like to know more about marine life, ask your guide who will point out the different fish and creatures.

Former passenger ferry at sand bank On our way to Passion Island, we pass the former passenger ferry, which lies majestically on a shallow sand bank. It is a perfect place for a swim and snorkeling and the water is turquois and clear. If you think, the water is just perfect here, wait until we arrive at Passion Island!!

Passion Island natural beach On our way to Passion Island, we will slow down the private boat for you to enjoy the incredibly beautiful colors of the ocean. Corals shimmer in the shallow waters and the beaches are a white line that stretches for miles. We head to a place further down the famous beach club to our private piece of paradise. We relax in the shallow water, stroll along the beach and enjoy the Caribbean sun. Have a typical meal such as guacamole or tropical fruits. The only “drawback” of our private Cozumel boat charter is that you may not want to leave.

Private Cozumel boat tour into the sunset Alternatively, our private boats can also be booked for a romantic sunset trip. This private boat trip starts at a variable time, as the sunsets in Cozumel are much later in summer than in winter. We will let you know the best time for a private Cozumel boat charter into the sunset. Of course, you can also snorkel or swim, the water is still pleasantly warm.

• Sun protection: It is not recommended anymore to apply sunscreen to protect corals and water quality. Please use sunscreen BEFORE the beginning the tour. If possible, only use biodegradable sunscreen in your vacation. You may bring a long rash or lycra to protect you sking from the sun.

Availability

The availability of our excursions can only be guaranteed after confirmation by us. If an excursion is not possible on your desired date, we will suggest another date or refund any payments already received.

Deposit

For a binding reservation we charge a deposit of 20% of the tour price. The remaining payment will be made in CASH on site. Please note that payment on site by credit card is not possible. If you would like to inquire about the tour without a binding reservation, please contact us.  

Customization of Excursions

Under special circumstances we adapt our tours to external conditions. We discuss this individually with our customers. Adjustments will be made, for example, if the weather changes at short notice. We also adapt excursions for cruisers to the berthing times of cruise ships.   Cancellation policy

• With the reservation we charge a deposit. We keep these as administration fees for “no-show” guests.
• We value small group sizes. Therefore, we use smaller boats for our excursions for a maximum of 13 people. These boats do not have a toilet on board!!! For those who prefer snorkeling tours in larger groups on bigger boats or catamarans, we will be happy to make an alternative offer.
• It can happen that our boat excursion on Cozumel has to be cancelled due to bad weather (strong wind and waves). Typical season for this is between November and March. This may be at the direction of the port captain or may be a safety decision by our captain. If the tour cannot be rescheduled to another day, we will of course refund any deposits made. Unfortunately, we cannot pay for any other costs incurred. However, we will gladly make every effort to provide substitute services. In addition, we do everything in our power to inform about such cancellations as early as possible.

  We refund the deposit, if

• You cancel the excursion at least 24 hours before
• If you have to cancel the excursion for whatever reason, please inform us as soon as possible. We might be able to sell the excursion elsewhere and will refund the deposit.

• If your cruise ship does not dock in Cozumel on the day you booked, we will be happy to provide you with a voucher for a future visit or refund 50% of your deposit.
