Cozumel Snorkeling, El Cielo Sandbar & Beach Club
Discover the most beautiful corners of Cozumel in a private atmosphere. This Cozumel excursion offers a fantastic combination of snorkeling, the gorgeous El Cielo sandbar and a beach bar. Join us for sightings of sea turtles, the starfish of El Cielo and the rays of El Cielito. Relax at a Cozumel beach club and enjoy a typical lunch.
On our Cozumel Snorkeling, El Cielo Sandbar & Beach Club excursion we will make the following stops.
Turtle Point: Sea turtle sightings
Reef in the National Park: Snorkeling stop
El Cielo & El Cielito: Starfish, sandbar with ray sighting
Beach Bar: Relaxation and lunch
First, on our Cozumel snorkeling & beach bar tour, we head to Turtle Point for sea turtle sightings. The success rate of sightings is 80-90%. Then we stop in the Cozumel National Park for snorkeling.
In "El Cielo" starfish are scattered in the white sand. Next to El Cielo is El Cielito with shallow waters that shimmers turquoise in the sun. With a snack and drinks we relax and if we are lucky, rays join us in the crystal clear water.
In a beach club deck chairs, a typical lunch and a drink are waiting for us. Here we enjoy the Caribbean flair before returning by land.

Snorkeling in Cozumel – Turtle Point & Reef – El Cielo/El Cielito – Beach Bar
Make the most of your day in Cozumel with our combination snorkeling and beach bar.
On this excursion we will visit the Cozumel Marine Park with the Turtle Point. The probability of a sea turtle sighting is high and with a little luck we can watch the fascinating creatures for a while.
The coral reefs in the Cozumel National Park offer an amazing underwater world. Enjoy the fantastic visibility in the crystal clear waters of El Cielo/El Cielito, an excellent way to enjoy the Caribbean.
Cozumel Snorkeling, El Cielo Sandbar & Beach Club: Turtle Point and Reefs
Turtle Point is a popular spot for sea turtles to feed. Especially the green turtle is spotted here. Sea grass grows at this shallow point, and here the turtles find enough food.
The famous reefs of Cozumel are just nearby. At our next snorkel stop we let ourselves drift with the current. At a depth of about 6-7 meters amazing coral formations are waiting for us and with a little luck we will find big parrot fish or lobsters.
Cozumel Snorkeling, El Cielo Sandbar & Beach Club: El Cielo
In Spanish, El Cielo means “heaven.” It is one of the most spectacular and beautiful spots on Cozumel, if not the entire Caribbean. The white sand shines in the turquoise blue water. Here we see several starfish scattered in the water.
Cozumel Snorkeling, El Cielo Sandbar & Beach Club: El Cielito
El Cielito is the shallow part of El Cielo and means “little sky”. The water here is only waist deep. Often stingrays swim around or hide in the sand. In the turquoise water we serve drinks and a snack of guacamole or cheviche with fresh fruit.
Cozumel Snorkeling, El Cielo Sandbar & Beach Club: Beach Club
Deck chairs await us on the Caribbean beach and in the shade we relax or have a swim. We enjoy lunch and a drink.
Our transportation brings you back to the cruise port or hotel on Cozumel.

Cancellation policy
- With the reservation we charge a deposit. We keep these as administration fees for “no-show” guests.
- We value small group sizes. Therefore, we use smaller boats for our excursions for a maximum of 13 people. These boats do not have a toilet on board!!! For those who prefer snorkeling tours in larger groups on bigger boats or catamarans, we will be happy to make an alternative offer.
- It can happen that our boat excursion on Cozumel has to be cancelled due to bad weather (strong wind and waves). Typical season for this is between November and March. This may be at the direction of the port captain or may be a safety decision by our captain. If the tour cannot be rescheduled to another day, we will of course refund any deposits made. Unfortunately, we cannot pay for any other costs incurred. However, we will gladly make every effort to provide substitute services. In addition, we do everything in our power to inform about such cancellations as early as possible.

Highly recommended. Also the beach club at the end of the tour is amazing

We had a very nice tour. At Turtle Poit we didn’t see any turtles, but right at the reef. The corals and El Cielo are impressive. We enjoyed the Beach Club very much.
