Group Excursion to Tulum: Mayan Ruins Tulum The amazing Mayan ruins of Tulum are situated right next to the ocean!! The original name of the once important Maya site was “Zama”, which means “sunrise”. Tulum was at its height between 1200 and 1400 AD and was built as a trade port. High walls protected three sides of the city, the east side was sheltered by the ocean. Explore the archeological site of Tulum and learn more about the Mayan culture, the meaning of religion and their well developed knowledge. Take amazing pictures of the Mayan ruins, we’ll show you the best places.
Group Excursion to Tulum: Swim in Cenotes After visiting the archaeological site of Tulum, we stop at a private cenote park (limestone caves filled with fresh water). This park allows for a swim in different cenotes, open waters and caves.
Expect to see breathtaking stalactite formations and to swim in a cave. Immerse at refreshing 21 degrees / 70 Fahrenheit and enjoy this amazing piece of nature. In the middle of the tropical jungle, we understand the deep meaning of cenotes for the ancient Maya.
What should I bring?

- Bathing shoes or thongs (to walk in the cenotes)

- Please use only biodegradable sunscreen in the Yucatan peninsula and help to protect corals and water quality. In the cenotes, you may not apply sunscreen, if needed, you may use a rash or shirt.

Availability
The availability of our excursions can only be guaranteed after confirmation by us. If an excursion is not possible on your desired date, we will suggest another date or refund any payments already received.
Deposit
For a binding reservation we charge a deposit of 20% of the tour price. The remaining payment will be made in CASH on site. Please note that payment on site by credit card is not possible. If you would like to inquire about the tour without a binding reservation, please contact us.
Customization of Excursions
Under special circumstances we adapt our tours to external conditions. We discuss this individually with our customers. Adjustments will be made, for example, if the weather changes at short notice.
Cancellation policy
- With the reservation we charge a deposit. We keep these as administration fees for “no-show” guests.
We refund the deposit, if
- You cancel the excursion at least 24 hours before
- Cruise ships cancel their stay in Cozumel
- If you have to cancel the excursion for whatever reason, please inform us as soon as possible. We might be able to sell the excursion elsewhere and will refund the deposit.
