Our Privat Cozumel Boat Tours start every morning at 10:00 am and in the afternoon at 2:00 pm and takes 4 hours. We take our guests to the best snorkel reefs in Cozumel, the Colombia and Palancar National Park as well as El Cielo.
Our first stop will be the reefs Colombia and Palancar. We spend about 40 minutes snorkeling these amazing reefs. Then we continue to the starfish beach in El Cielo. Next to El Cielo is El Cielito, where you can swim in the clear water, have beer and snacks and enjoy the magnificent Caribbean. We include the following stops in our Private Cozumel Boat Tour:
Snorkeling in Cozumel Colombia & Palancar Reef
The Cozumel reefs Colombia and Palancar are located directly behind each other and are several kilometers long. The shallow part of the Colombia Reef is perfect for snorkeling. At a depth of about 6-7 meters / 20 feet, amazing coral formations are waiting for us and with some luck we will find some big parrot fish or sea turtles.
The Colombia Reef runs parallel to the island of Cozumel for over a mile and offers enough space for a fantastic Cozumel snorkeling experience.
Snorkeling in Cozumel El Cielo In Spanish, “El Cielo” means “Heaven”. It is one of the most spectacular and beautiful places in Cozumel, if not in the entire Caribbean. The white sand shines in the turquoise-blue water. Here we see various starfish.
Beach Break Cozumel El Cielito El Cielito is the shallow part of EL Cielo and means “little heaven”. Sometimes stingrays are swimming or hiding in the sand. Here we are having a snack of Guacamole and fresh fruits, something to drink and enjoy the water.

- Sun protection: To protect the corals and the water quality, it is no longer desirable to use sunscreen on Cozumel. Please apply sunscreen BEFORE the tour starts. If possible, use biodegradable sunscreen on your vacation. To protect against the strong sun, we recommend wearing a lycra or a light T-shirt

Minimum age
The minimum age for this excursions is 6 years
Availability The availability of our excursions can only be guaranteed after confirmation by us. If an excursion is not possible on your desired date, we will suggest another date or refund any payments already received.
Deposit
For a binding reservation we charge a deposit of 20% of the tour price. The remaining payment will be made in CASH on site. Please note that payment on site by credit card is not possible. If you would like to inquire about the tour without a binding reservation, please contact us.
Customization of Excursions
Under special circumstances we adapt our tours to external conditions. We discuss this individually with our customers. Adjustments will be made, for example, if the weather changes at short notice. We also adapt excursions for cruisers to the berthing times of cruise ships.
Cancellation policy
- With the reservation we charge a deposit. We keep these as administration fees for “no-show” guests.
- We value small group sizes. Therefore, we use smaller boats for our excursions for a maximum of 13 people. These boats do not have a toilet on board!!! For those who prefer snorkeling tours in larger groups on bigger boats or catamarans, we will be happy to make an alternative offer.
- It can happen that our boat excursion on Cozumel has to be cancelled due to bad weather (strong wind and waves). Typical season for this is between November and March. This may be at the direction of the port captain or may be a safety decision by our captain. If the tour cannot be rescheduled to another day, we will of course refund any deposits made. Unfortunately, we cannot pay for any other costs incurred. However, we will gladly make every effort to provide substitute services. In addition, we do everything in our power to inform about such cancellations as early as possible.
We refund the deposit, if
- You cancel the excursion at least 24 hours before
- If you have to cancel the excursion for whatever reason, please inform us as soon as possible. We might be able to sell the excursion elsewhere and will refund the deposit.

If your cruise ship does not dock in Cozumel on the day you booked, we will be happy to provide you with a voucher for a future visit or refund 50% of your deposit.

It was a very great trip. We visited 3 reefs (Columbia, Palancar and El Cielo) and afterwards we went to a remote beach. It was a very successful trip. The crew members took great care of us. On our 4 week round trip through México we had planned 3 days Cozumel and immediately got in touch with Birgit via WhatsApp ( boss of Leon Tours ).
Birgit organized 2 fantastic snorkeling tours in the north and south. On the 3rd day then the jeep tour over the rest of the island. The weather conditions were also perfectly coordinated on which day which tour is best. So we had 3 wonderful days on Cozumel although we unfortunately landed in a bad hotel (Sunscape). Without the great organization of Birgit, who personally picked us up every day, the stay would certainly not have been so wonderful.

Birgit organisierte 2 traumhafte Schnorchel Touren in den Norden und Süden. Am 3 Tag dann die Jeep Tour über den Rest der Insel.
